At Abbots Green, we are proud to offer your child a happy, safe environment in which they are encouraged and challenged to learn across all areas of our curriculum. We embrace any opportunity to bring our curriculum to life in an active way with events such as Greek Day, recreating the Fire of London or even the challenge of running the Daily Mile!
As a school, we commit to educating the whole child. We believe that children’s personal, academic, physical, creative and social developments are all important and enable us to develop confident, independent, self-evaluative learners throughout the school. Children at Abbots Green are proud to take on roles and responsibilities (large and small) in school and revel in supporting one another.
Being a large primary school, we pride ourselves in maintaining a family feel where staff work together collaboratively to ensure that every child reaches their potential. As a team, we communicate with parents frequently to share learning as well as celebrate achievements.
I am proud of the Abbots Green vision and ethos that remains at the core of our school. Underpinning everything that we achieve at Abbots Green, is our effective safeguarding culture that relies on clear and thorough systems and procedures for our staff and pupils.
We believe that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Our children's safety and wellbeing is at the heart of all that we do; our pupils themselves take a keen and active role within our school community, leading by example to maintain a culture of equality and mutual respect.
